Terms and Conditions for the where's Ted competition

  1. The Where’s Ted competition is open to all UK residents.
  2. The competition will run on a monthly basis and all entrants who share the Where's Ted Facebook post will be entered into the competition.
  3. Entrants must follow our Telford & Wrekin Council Facebook page @TelfordWrekin and share the Where's Ted posts.
  4. There is no entry fee or purchase necessary. The opening date for all registrations will be confirmed each month. The closing date of the registrations is the 28th of each month. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
  5. Entrants may only submit one entry each per monthly competition.
  6. The Council accepts no responsibility for submissions not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
  7. The winners will receive:
    • A Telford Ted Teddy.
  1. The winner will be notified by the email address provided at time of submitting their entry.
  2. The prize winner may be cordially invited to attend personally at the Council offices at a time and date mutually convenient to the winner and the Council.
  3. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
  4. The decision of the Council regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  5. Entrants are deemed to have accepted and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions by entering. The Council reserves the right to refuse the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  6. The Council reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so for whatever reason.
  7. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Council, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Council, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  8. Winners may be required to participate in publicity related to the prize draw which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media.
  9. Personal data supplied during the course of the 50 Buildings and prize draw will not be passed on to any third party only insofar as required by law or for the delivery of the prize.
  10. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
